Wild Kakwa Outfitters provides archery trophy whitetail bowhunts and rifle whitetail hunts in the Peace River area of Alberta Canada where the monster bucks live.

Northwest Alberta is renowned for it's big bucks.The area we hunt is in the heart of the Peace country, it has many large farms that grow grain and alfalfa. The combination of aspen forests and farmland provides prime habitat for trophy bucks.

The best time to hunt for big bucks is during the last 3 weeks of November when they are rutting. The dominant bucks put on many miles in search of hot does. Our guides will put you in the best possible location to take a trophy Alberta buck. We scout for 2 months before our hunters arrive looking for specific trophy whitetail deer, patterning them.

Our zone is over 3500 square miles and has very low hunting pressure and high populations of whitetail deer.

Whitetail Deer Hunting Summary:

Steve Harmon of Maine (207-369-0123) harvested a heavy 5x6 that scored 160 B&C. Steve also shot one of the biggest wolves ever taken at 150 pounds.

Neil Fittje of TN (phone #: 931-388-9174) hunted the last 4 years and harvested 4 nice bucks.

Brian Huff of Pennsylvania (814-885-6470) harvested a heavy antlererd buck that scored 160 on the first day of his hunt.

Jim Benton of Michigan harvested a wide, heavy antlered buck that scored over 160 B&C


Tom Nash of Missouri, (417-725-6090), hunted for 3 days and harvested a massive 7x5 that grossed 176 B&C.

Tim Peterson of Pennsylvania, (814-837-8369), hunted for 3 days and harvested a 17 point that scored 173 B&C.

Buddy Boone of Georgia, (770-361-8187), harvested our highest scoring deer in 2005 which scored 180 B&C.



6-day Whitetail Deer Hunt - November Rut Hunts
$4,000.00 plus licenses and tax - $4,640.00

Cost of the hunt covers the following:

• Pick up at the Grande Prairie Airport.
• Transportation and guiding service during the hunt.
• Food and accommodation.
• Field dressing and transporting to butcher shop.

The following is not included in the cost of the hunt:

• All hunting licenses
• Shipping, crating and handling of the trophy.
• Taxidermy and caping

Terms and conditions of booking the hunt:

• 50% deposit is required to book the hunt.
• The total is payable by June 1st.
• A personal check will be accepted for your deposit.
