I have hunted for most of 60 years and my dream came true at age 72. Even though I am experiencing health problems, Wild Kakwa Outfitters accepted my application to moose hunt. Without hesitation.

In all of my big game hunts, never have I witnessed such dedication not only from the outfitter himself but his wife, daughter and son were just as committed to all the hunters being well fed and comfortable. The guides from day one said they would be the ones who would feel like losers if we did not tag out. Each of the 6 hunters tagged out with days to spare.

The camp was nested in some of the most beautiful country that I have visited and in October, the colors of the trees was simply another miracle. They even had our flags flying in the winds on a pole. The tents were large and extremely comfortable with propane gas heaters. The entire camp appeared to be cleaned each day while we were hunting. The food was so good and well prepared until I could not leave without recipes and even received some later by e-mail. I am so proud of my 47" Trophy Moose and am presently in the process of a shoulder mount. I am also writing a journal, with pictures, for the future hunters in my family.
