Claude Webster, 2005 Whitetail
Deer Hunt
In the fall of 2005 I hunted with
Alpine Outfitters and Wild Kakwa Outfitters for trophy whitetail
deer. On the first day of the hunt I saw 1 doe and 3 bucks. My
guides, Lowell Davis and Manny Hale had scouted the area and located
3 different trophy bucks that scored between 165-190. I hunted
until 1:45pm the first day when my buck walked out on a pipeline.
He was a very wide, heavy 10 point that scored 169 B&C. I
put him down with one shot from a ladder stand.
I would like to thank Alpine Outfitters and Wild Kakwa Outfitters
for locating this big buck and the good food and accommodations
on my hunt.
